Bellachorda has partnered with 6ftcloser, a global organization using "technology and media to connect the world through authentic recognition and gratitude, empowering people to live more hopeful, empathetic, and positive lives." Founded by a team of pre-med students at the University of Florida, the organization allows people to use their platform to send messages of goodwill, gratitude, and recognition, whether they be soldiers and veterans who fight for our freedom, teachers who shape the future of our society, or parents who sacrifice the world for their children. 6ftcloser has already sent out and recognized over 2000 deserving people with videos of appreciation.

Bellachorda's partnership with 6ftcloser has introduced a new collaborative initiative to encourage all musicians, whether currently volunteering with Bellachorda or subscribed to our #SongsOfComfort Series, to participate in this platform by creating short music videos to express your thanks to all the hardworking people living in this world.

Because of this wonderful collaboration, our Bellachorda team will be making extra episodes of our #SongsOfComfort Series, tailored to our unique recipients and will not be shared publicly on our website and Instagram. However, we incredibly encourage you to participate in 6ftcloser's project — by either nominating a deserving individual, creating a video saying your thank you's, verbally or physically. If you have contributed to the new initiative designed through our partnership, fill out the form below and we will send you one special, never-before-seen #SongsOfComfort Episode made by Bellachorda's musicians.

Bellachorda has partnered with the Children's Music Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to "bringing music therapy into the lives of sick children to help overcome pain, fear and anxiety." Founded by Dr. Raffi Tachdjian, the Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, CMF engages children affected by chronic conditions or life-altering illnesses in music therapy to provide a source of healing, donates new musical instruments to their patients, and conducts research on music therapy to integrate music with medicine.

In light of our partnership, Bellachorda will be sending every #SongsOfComfort Episode we make to hospitals in our local chapter communities to share with their patients. We also created a new page on our website and a blog series called Music and Your Mentality that educates our viewers on music therapy, from the benefits to the mind and body, to the development of telehealth therapy services during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bellachorda endorses donations to the Children's Music Fund to give more children access to music therapy and musical instruments. Any donations we receive will be redirected to CMF.
