#SongsOfComfort Episode 21
Bellachorda's Jelani Surpris presents an original composition called "Le vent de Maurice." To preface the piece, he writes: "Ravel and Stravinsky are by far my favourite composers from the early twentieth century. I felt moved one morning to write a piece that alluded to some of the minimal techniques Ravel used in his piano suite 'Miroirs' and also by Stravinsky's use of bi-tonality in his 'Symphony of Wind Instruments.' Enjoy."
